Welcome to my website! My name is George Evjen, and I'm thrilled to share my journey and experiences with you. As a former small college basketball coach turned software coach, I've had the privilege of exploring two diverse yet equally fulfilling career paths. Alongside my coaching endeavors, I also run a podcast, serve as a speaker, and lead our coaching company, DeadThree Coaching, with a mission to "Develop People, Enhance Process, and Build Teams."

Basketball Coaching Background

For over 14 years, I had the incredible opportunity to coach basketball at various levels and in different states across the United States. From the picturesque landscapes of Washington to the scenic mountains of Utah, the vibrant communities of Colorado and Michigan, and the heartland of Missouri, my coaching journey took me on an exciting adventure.

During my time as a basketball coach, I dedicated myself to nurturing young athletes, honing their skills, and fostering a positive team environment. Witnessing the growth and development of my players brought me immense satisfaction, and the bonds I formed with them and fellow coaches are treasured memories.

Transition to Software Coaching

Around 15 years ago, I made a pivotal decision to transition from the basketball court to the software coaching space. It was a leap of faith driven by my passion for technology and my desire to help individuals and organizations reach their full potential through software development.

Software Coaching Journey

Since then, I have been fortunate to work with diverse teams, ranging from startups to established companies, helping them navigate the ever-changing landscape of software development. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and consulting, I empower teams to embrace agile methodologies, adopt efficient workflows, and build high-quality software products.

Podcast and Speaking Engagements

In addition to my coaching work, I host a podcast where I delve into topics such as leadership, team dynamics, and personal growth. Through engaging conversations with industry experts and thought leaders, I aim to provide valuable insights and actionable advice to my audience.
